Oh joy

It's been raining straight for two and a half days. All planned outside activities had to be cancelled. The balcony is leaking (so far only a bit, which is a blessing). And in an hour and a half I have to go out into the rain to fetch my student and because there is no food in the house.

Life sucks. Only moderately, but it still sucks. I hate rain. I know the soil needs it, but couldn't it spare the spot where our house is?

Oh, and due to pre-scheduled maintenance on the central heating, we won't have heating or hot water today, either.

Yuk! It's raining here today, if that's any consolation. Misery loving company, and all that. It's that light but steady rain that sneakily but thoroughly soaks you. The good news is that my mint in the garden pots seems to be enjoying it.

Oh damn that sounds all around miserable. Drink lots of hot tea so you won't get sick when it's cold inside

It's been snowing here. Even the locals are pissed off by it! Thankfully, although it's quite heavy it doesn't seem to be settling...much.

No hot water or heating is pretty shit though!

Wow, with all of that, I'd call the day off and go hang out something warm and dry.

That's bad luck, indeed! Hope you have another hot beverage of choice at hand.

It is. We should have had back both an hour ago, but so far nothing. I saw the mechanics leave just now, I'm just not sure if it's because they've finished or because they've given up...

Snowing? *shudders*

Thanks. Warm hugs are good. Especially in this weather.

I'm not sure there's such a place within my reach. I went to school to fetch my student today, and they don't have any heating, either. The district obviously decided that they shouldn't heat the school in May - so they don't. By 13°C in and outside, it's hopeless to expect the kiddies to sit calm and pay attention.

That's hardly conducive to learning. Poor kids and teachers!

Life gets so gloomy after that many rainy days:( No heat or hot water, either? That's adding insult to injury. I hope you'll get some sunshine soon.

We've had a lot of cold, cloudy, rainy days here, so when we get one sunny day each week, it's so nice!
Matter of fact, the sun has finally come out today, and the weather forecast says sunny all day, so I will have some nice sun on the patio this afternoon and evening.
Then it's back to clouds, etc. Blah.

Yeah, same here: two days of sunshine (albeit with relatively strong wind), then back to rain and leaking balcony. *sigh*
