Amazing, isn't it? And after all that practice I had with explosion boxes, actually not all that complicated to make. I'm thinking about an Easter version, as there's no way I'll be able to wait another year to give it a try. *g*

Let's hope so. I'd hate to mess up something this pretty.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm tentatively hopeful myself. ;)

That's lovely; those videos make it look so easy, no false steps :)

It's beautiful! I want to try that as well. My explosion box for my daughter's birthday wound up looking like a 6 year-old made it, but I'd like to try.

Yeah, I know. And when you give it a try, you are taught better. *g*
If I'd make a video about my attempts, people would be dying from laughter, every time the frigging double-sided tape sticks to places where they aren't supposed to stick.

It's all a matter of practice. This was my first one - fairly amateurish, isn't it?

It took me a year to figure out the basic elements, but after that it gets easier with each new try.

I think one of my problems was using Elmer's glue, which proved to be to wet for the cardstock and the papers - they didn't stay flat, so the thing looked amateurish from the get-go. So I have to get some decent paper craft glue for my next project.

Glue sticks and double-sided tape work excellently, too.
