These are the recipes for the cookies I baked this morning. [livejournal.com profile] artemis10002000, they are for you. I've posted them to Pinterest as well, so you can simply download them there, but I thought perhaps more people will be interested - assuming they speak German.

These are absolutely fabulous, and the recipe works the exact way it's printed there, which often isn't the case:

These are delicious, too, but a real pain to make. No matter how long you chill the dough, it keeps breaking apart. In my despair, I added not only the egg yolk but almost the entire egg white, in the hope that it would hold the dough together, but it didn't help a bit. You must experiment a little - please, share with me any miraculous solution you might find:

Also, the things are not such an ugly yellow but light brown in reality - and on the original picture. For some reason my scanner is even worse at reproducing the colours than my iPad is.

Needless to say that after all that baking I had little energy to do anything else. However, I managed to re-string several Christmas tree bauble chains - like the ones in the middle of the picture below - whole string had broken. Now I can't feel my fingertips. Still, I'm content with today's work.

Thank you! Yes, I'm gonna pin them on pinterest

Just saw you gave me access to that pinboard, that's even better than pinning them to my own, thanks!

You're welcome. :) That way you can add recipes you find interesting, too, and we can both enlarge our repertoire.

Yes, indeed! I should go through my paper folder for recipes to photograph.

Ooooh, thank you! Sis reads German and collects biscuit recipes so I have passed them to her and volunteered to taste test :)

Of, course, taste tests are very important!

I'll be uploading more of these recipes shortly. If either of you have a Pinterest account, you'll be able to directly download them from here (https://hu.pinterest.com/ekunster/kuchenrezepte/kleingeb%C3%A4ck/).
