The last day at work

wiseheartIt was surprisingly short, even though we had choir practice afterwards. A lot of kiddies sought me out to say their good-byes, and so did some colleagues. It was rather pleasant, actually.
Of course, I'll be back tomorrow as I've promised one of the eight-term classes that we'd bake cheesy buns and make some sweets for the disco buffet on Friday, but that will be completely different. I'll stroll in around 1 pm, bake the stuff with them and leave an hour or so later to meet Mum at our favourite café for celebration.
The time of freedom has finally arrived!
