... including the current one.

The others had to work yesterday, so that they'd have December 24 free. Never mind that it would be winter break anyway, when the kiddies wouldn't have to come to school. Teachers had to, and they had monstrous meetings instead of teaching.

The girls tell me that Boss Woman has developed new and "interesting" ideas about how things will be done in the second half of the term. Everyone is flabbergasted, shocked, enraged and despaired about said ideas. Mum says Boss Woman would deserve half the teachers quitting and looking for other jobs. We've got a serious shortage in teachers, so they won't have to search very hard. Sometimes I think Boss Woman has lost any connection to reality that she still had (which wasn't very much to begin with). Anyway, I'm really grateful that my time in indentured servitude is running out.

On a happier note, I promised you a pic about my little Nespresso angels when they're finished, with wings and jewellery and stuff. So, here it is. Still not very happy with the effects of the chrome filter, but the picture was way too dark without.

Very cute.

How does BossWoman even have that job?

What little cuties they are! :D And three days! Ye gods, I'd be falling apart.

As for your boss woman, it sounds like there's something going on with her mentally. Seriously...

I do love the Nespresso angels.

I have met a couple of people from my old work in the past week and both said 'You were so lucky to leave when you did...' It sounds to be even more true in your case.

Good connection, insatiable hunger for power and the lack of competition. Being a school director is a rotten job in this country, so only rotten people have a vested interest in it.

That is what we've been thinking for a decade and a half by now.

And I am falling apart... well, a little bit, quietly and secretly. Mum is a great support, though.

It appears so, yes. My colleagues desperately envy my good luck.

Love how the little angels turned out! Sad that one person (Boss Woman) can make such misery for others.

Indeed, I feel sorry for my colleagues. I'm fortunate to having spared those new "reforms".

Well, I think we all are falling apart. Every morning, it's an adventure to see what starts to hurt first. At least by the time the coffee is done, I'm usually limbered up a little. They should reward us for getting older, not give us more crap to deal with.

Thank you. :) I wish I could send you one, but they are too delicate to survive the long journey.
