We've finished the Nespresso craft project with the 5th-grade kiddies. And since I promised [livejournal.com profile] adafrog pictures, here are the pictures!

My little angels (sans wings so far; those will come tomorrow):

25 little Christmas elves, made (mostly) by the kiddies:

And the last three, made by yours truly:

I'm not entirely happy with the colours the chrome filter produces, but otherwise the pictures would have been a tad too dark. So, please believe me that they aren't quite this garish in colour in real life.

I also gave [livejournal.com profile] spikesgirl58's double ginger cookies a try. The dought is extremely delicious and is currently resting in the fridge. I'm very excited about this experiment, hope the finished cookies will be equally tasty.

They are absolutely adorable! I'm just wondering ... would those bases be big enough to take a chocolate? If so, I may be asking a friend to save me his nesspresso cups.

I'm not sure. They're about 30 mm in diameter, I think, but tapering off upward, so it has to be a very small piece of chocolate.

What little cuties! I love what you did with the 'cups'! Most excellent - fingers crossed.

The kids did good work for a bunch of 11-years-olds who usually only are creative on the computer.

They're adorable. I'll bet the fifth-graders enjoyed the project!

You can talk them into just about everything - as long as it doesn't have anything to do with actual learning. *g*
