... and we have gas again! See the proof below: cocoa rolls, fresh from the oven!



Granted, they are the ready-made, deep-freezed version that you only have to thaw out and put into the oven, but it's still baking, yes? I'VE GOT MY OVEN BACK!

Other than that, not much happened. School was tedious, but I managed to work a bit on the last naming day pocket letter, so my time wasn't completely wasted. No writing today, though, as I slept in - too much stress in recent days.

So are we, to be honest. This soft living has spoiled us, and we despair when the comforts we are used to are taken from us, even temporarily. I would be hard-pressed if I had to return to the harsh conditions of my childhood, when those were the norm.

Yay! for being able to cook again. I'm not someone who cooks with gas but I can't imagine not being able to heat food for so long.
