wiseheartI sacrificed half the day to sorting out the recipes I decided to keep after the big clean-out last week. I've put them into various plastic folders, sorted by Christmas, Easter and other topics. I also wrote tabs I put in each folder, so I would know which recipes exactly are in which folder and won't have to go through the whole thing each time I need something specific.
In the other half of the day I wrote about 6 pages for Ch 15 of the Dwobbit fic. Like before, it's just the first draft, but making some headway is always good.
I also decided to trim my friendslist at the end of the month. I keep a fairly open journal with hardly any locked entries at all, so if anyone wants to read it, they can. I just don't see why I should litter my Friends page with the entries of people who clearly don't give a rat's arse about my life. So, people I'm about to remove will still be able to read most of what I post, in the unlikely case they're interested, but I won't care for their posts without reciprocation. Yes, I'm old and cranky; I've earned it.
