... and the end seems farther away than ever. *sigh*

Yesterday I spent almost 7 hours with sitting around on uncomfortable benches and uncomfortable chairs, doing nothing of importance. Well, I did a great deal of sewing, of course, but that's not what I mean. There's nothing useful for me to do at school - there hasn't been since I'm no longer allowed to teach - and it's getting on my nerves something awful.

The beginning of the week isn't quite as bad, as there are shorter hours of senseless nothing to do. But Thursday and Friday are ungodly long, and there are times when I'd like to just crawl into a corner and scream. I'm just fed up with the whole thing horribly.

Plus, my rheumatic joints don't react well to the nothing. My left leg started hurting again, from being forced into the same position for so long. I'll have to remember to stand up and walk around a lot, or I'll be a cripple by the time my indentured service runs off.

Indeed, it is! And after having sewn for some 5 hours in a row to compensate for nothing, I thought my eyes would roll out of my skull. And now I'm cranky. *sigh*

Because I am apparently not good enough. Never mind that my last group had the highest number of language proficiency exams ever and that former students keep coming back and telling that they lived on what they had learned from me in high school... Mum says my mortal sin is speaking a better German than Boss Woman's pet, so they are settling for me not being able öt teach properly in order to remove the competition. Although I never competed with the colleague in question. I just did my job at the best of my abilities. I was by no means perfect, nobody is, but even that was too much, apparently.
