A number of Dwarves began to return to Erebor; mostly those who used to live there under Thrór’s rule, or the descendants of such people. Most of them came from the Iron Hills, but there were also a few of those who had fled to the scattered FireBeard and StoneFoot settlements in Taforabbad, the Grey Mountains.
