Or, as a colleague - who's equally addicted - calls it, "the paper love".

I bought this today, in the Müller drugstore, which is a German chain, so I got them slightly cheaper, but still expensively enough. The individual sheets are simply awesome, so many different colours and patterns and textures I could get drunk by the mere sight of it.

Tomorrow, I'm goin back to buy the "Mumbai" collection as well. The store has the "Kerala" collection, too, but I need to examine the individual sheets, too, before deciding if I wanted that one or not. Mum promised to gift one of them upon me, so I have to think about my choice very hard.

I've already decided to make an India-themed explosion box for someone. I just need to find the right recipient. At the moment I'm busy with felt work, sewing an armoured knight for the teenage son of a colleague. The boy has serious depressions, but he seems to love my felt work, and he'll have his birthday in May, so I'll have the time to do a good job, now that the Easter madness has passed.

Oh man both of them are gorgeous, that will be a hard choice. Whichever color theme you go for I'm excited to see the results already.

Well, the Mumbai one is absolutely gorgeous in life, so I'll definitely have that one, unless they sell it until tomorrow. And since Mum's offered to pay one of them, if the blue/green one is half as beautiful as the other two, then I'll have all three and money be damned! After all, I'm the last of my line, it isn't so that I ought to save it for the next generation. And since I neither smoke nor drink, swore off women and was never interested in horse rating, I need a vice to nurture, too, right? *g*

Right you are! And they are good investments anyway, you'll create gorgeous gifts with them.

Yes, I'm not really into cluttering up my place with little figurines and whatnot. The only things I collect to keep are books and DVDs, and even those I regularly check and give away the ones I no longer want. But creating beautiful things and give them to other people who have joy in them makes me happy, too.

The Nautilus box and the London Bus box were a raging success, not only by their recipients, but the whole teacher's college gathered to admire them. And everyone was happy with their felt Easter eggs.

It's a very good way to create and "collect" beautiful things without cluttering your place - and making other people happy in the process, too!
