Long weekends are fantastic
Oct. 22nd, 2017 07:17 pmAs we have a national holiday tomorrow, I'm having three full days school-free and without any pressing chores. Being retired must be like this. *insert longing face*
In any case, I've worked on the little Christmas stars for the new advent calendar - they all have the little red hat now, and small red pompoms for their noses - baked cheesy buns yesterday and an apple tart today and generally watched a lot of telly (brainless German semi-documentaries work wonderful as background noise while one is sewing things and won't let one's German vocabulary and grammar dry up).
Tomorrow I hope to do some writing and typing up at least. And perhaps sewing on the black pearl eyes of the little stars while watching some more crap telly. *fingers crossed*
Lazy days are the best!
