Approaching Christmas time

Originally, these merry little stars were supposed to be part of an Advent calendar I'm currently working on for a beloved colleague who has got two small granddaughters - well, the second one will arrive in December, but still. Anyway, the patterns were already cut and the little red hats sewn on when I discovered that these had a different hue than all the others. So I decided to sew independent little stars and gift them upon other colleagues individually - those who slave with me in the thankless afternoon shift all the time.
They are not perfect, but I like them nonetheless. Both the stars and the colleagues. *g*
