This one is a bit hipster, for the youngest of the three brides, and made entirely of envelopes. I'll put the pictures under the tag - I can't stand it myself when my Friend's page is swamped with huge photos, making commenting or simply reading the messages a pain.

The cover: front page, and then the whole thing, front and back:

Inside pictures - in some pages there are already tags with congartulatory messages put into the envelope pockets:

As you can see, this one has a hand-stitched card (also made by me, of course) on the inside front cover. Taking the photos put some stress on the envelopes, so that I had to repair the journal a bit afterwards, but I definitely wanted a pic of each decorated page, so it was worth the bit of extra effort.

(The stone on the left side only serves to hold the page in place; it isn't part of the journal, nor has it been decorated by yours truly.)

(As I said in my previous entry, my iPad likes to err on the side of blue. This was actually a white envelope, believe it or not!)

(Another white envelope that ended up blue. Note the congratulatory tags in the pocket).

(Yes, this was a white envelope, too. It's really annoying.)

(See above. Funnily enough, only a certain kind of white paper ends up blue. As you can see, the tag remained white... well, more or less.)

(Yellow paper clearly has better luck - save for the fact that one of my fingertips somehow ended up on the picture. Yeah, I do have thick sausage fingers. *g*)

(More tags, more blue hues. The messages are from various colleagues, by the way.)

(The messages are in English because both G and her future husband are English teachers.)

(The inside of the back cover - not a very good picture, the stupid journal managed to move a bit while I was taking the photo but, well, one can still make out the pattern, right?

So, that was Journal #1. I'll post the rest when you had time to absorb this one. ;))
Tell me what you think!

Aaaah this one is gorgeous too! I love how completely different they turned out, style-wise, and am now all the more curious about the third.

It is a funny one, isn't it? Even though my capricious iPad turned the white pages blue.

The recipient is quite different, too, personality-wise.
The third one was really hard work, took me several weeks to finish and I made a few stupid mistakes, too, but it turned out well enoug... or so I hope.
