After-party summary

My virtual birthday party was very nice: 650 comments on 6 pages, almost all of them meaningful and most of them great fun. Considering how very few people participated, I'd call that a success. I had a wonderful time with my virtual guests - see you all next time, hopefully, and you have a Christmas wish free. This year embroidered cards are in the offer. I'm sorry I wasn't there for the celebration! First, my mother had a cataract operation which affected her rather badly (though the operation itself was a succes, she had trouble coping with it - she's 91 and suffering from Alzheimer's), then I had to take Larissa to Paris by car (she had too much luggage for a train trip, as she's going to do a research project there until next June), and in between I had to try and do some work. But I wish you well in the new year of your life, with as little school troubles as possible. Best wishes for your mum, too!
