A great idea for an advent calendar - made from take-away paper coffee cups. Easy to make with children, I think, and it looks nice and colourful.



Aaaand I finally finished the snowman design. What do you think? Is he cute or is he cute?



Yes, I know it does have its little faults, mostly because I used the wrong kind of glue and it coloured the paper balls yellow-ish wherever I glued on the eyes and the buttons, but the next one will be better. First, though, I'll try my luck with the polar bear, the Eskimo and with the penguins. And the seal, too.

Calendar is clever and would be easy to make.

That is because of the nose. I need a better method to create the nose. ;)

Save for the stupid nose. At Easter, you could buy those cute little pappmaché carrots in various sizes but not now, of course, and I don't have the space to keep everything in reserve.

I think the whole tableau with the snowman is very appealing! I love the little snowballs and especially the present. It's a pity about the nose. Perhaps he got hit by one of the snowballs?

I think they are both quite charming. And to my eye, the nose adds a sassy note to his face that makes him more interesting!

Yeah, but I was aiming for cute! Somehow none of my recent figurines manage to be cute - I don't know why. I didn't have that problem before. :(
