And since I'm about to recast half the Ardaverse crowd, what about this Thranduil?



I think I would prefer this one to the genderless clown wearing his wife's dressing gown in PJ's "Hobbit" films. Even though he, too, happens to wear nothing but a bedsheet. What is it with these Elves wearing undignified clothing?

Perhaps our dearly departed Pete Seeger -- a beloved American folk singer, activist and source of a lot of witty words -- captured it best with his version of a traditional American gospel song from the late 1800s, "Old-Time Religion," in which he takes things back in time... wayyyyyy back.
