I'm still here
Jun. 7th, 2015 07:55 pmOr rather over at
picowrimo. The summer session has started and it's such a delight. I really hope to finish Terminus in these two months.
Not that I'd have done much writing today. Or yesterday, for that matter. Yesterday we did the bi-monthly flat cleaning and today I got distracted by paper embroidery.
I also had to save a few bananas that literally got liquified from the heat. So I searched the Internet a bit and found a recipe for coconut-banana balls. Since I also had some grated coconut left, and some oat flakes and raisins, I stirred everything together in a bowl and baked it in the small hours of he morning. The only time switching on the oven wouldn't kill me in these days. It is very hot over here.
Yesterday I also did some paper crafts with empty toilet rolls, covering them with gift-wrapping paper and decorating them with cut-offs of my embroidered cards. They'll serve as small gift boxes for handmade items for the charity fair. This is a technique small kids will be able to do well. The fair is still half a year away, I just wanted to try out what they would look like.
Another week down, one and a half to go, and then I might acutally be able to eat healthy food and write regularly. {dreams on}
