They call that "constructive"?

Everyone who even fleetingly knows me can tell you that I'd give my firstborn for having lots and lots of reviews. Preferably positive ones, as - unlike many heroic souls out there - I'm not a glutton for punishment. I'd like people to, you know, like my stories.
I'm definitely not talking about the kind of reviews I've gotten lately. Reviews that start with "I love this story!" and continues with a page-long list of what the reviewer considers as mistakes or oversights. It's particularly lovely when the story is an AU and/or a crossover and therefore is *meant* to be different.
Those so-called "mistakes" usually don't have anything to do with the plot of the story, or charaterization (although I do get my fair share of outraged "Character X would never do that sort of protests). It's usually a technicality: something about the layout of a building, about the tech of the starship, about some peculiar trivia I have no way to know of and that is absolutely irrelevant to the actual story. And they're always phrased in a condescending manner I wouldn't use with my 10-year-old students, because I respect them. So no, I really don't find their comments "helpful".
Apparently, there are people who only ever review when they can find something to complain about. It's good that some of them review without logging in. I switched on the "Manage Anonymous Reviews" function and can delete their crap without it would litter up my review board.
