Köszönöm!!! If only I could teleport you over... when it's not so muggy.

We have been sweltering in the summer heat wave and humidity, but we did get out yesterday to have a slice of chocolate cake and to restock our house supply of ice cream. And we took Earthpig for a clandestine swim in the ocean to cool off this morning (dogs ought not to be on beaches here at this time of year), which was a pleasant break for us all.

Yeah, we are cooking in our own juices, too - again. Where have the proper sesong gone? I vaguely remember such things as spring and autumn, not just freezing and sweltering without the time to get used to either of them.

An ocean within reach is nice. I could live with that - even shocking the rest of mankind while appearing in a bathing suit.

I, too, have heard the tales of "spring" and "autumn" and long to enjoy them... although, to be fair to Mother Nature, after socking us with waist-deep snow, she did give us a long, mild spring before cranking up the heat.
