The biscuit *is* yummy indeed. And so easy to make! Granny usually made it in a rectangular pan and used for making a biscuit roll with apricot jam filling and icing sugar on top. Or as a basis for a fruit cake. You can also make it in a Gugelhupfform, adding cocoa to half of the dough and then stir the two halves slightly together for the marble effect.
