*laughs* For me, the hassle isn't even so much that I'd read it differently, but that I want to linger on some passages I like a lot, really take them in, let my imagination run wild... and just skim other, boring passages. However, I've joined that circle not for the fun of listening, but to improve my English skills, so I try to ignore that annoyance. I've gotten better at it, at first I would always want to skip back and forth.
I have the Tosh/Yoshitsune romance on my to-read list. I was very tempted to read it last night, but I was so tired already, I figured I wouldn't be able to process it.
Yes, I agree, it IS annoying when baked goods don't turn out the way you want them to. I'll have some of that now, too, as currently the cookie dough is being stirred in the kitchen.
