Pre-battle preparations

wiseheartRug cleaning guy is coming tomorrow. Mom and I moved all breakable items from the living room to the kitchen. Mom used to collect china and crystal, so we have a lot of breakable items. [sighs] Moving around half the household in a 53 square metres flat (including balcony) is such fun...
Yesterday a RL friend visited me. We discussed the alternate Voyager stuff.
She suggested me to kill off Janeway somewhere along the way and make Chakotay Captain. I can live with that. But we couldn't agree about the new First Officer. I wanted Ro Laren (this is an AU, remember?), but Andrea didin't like the idea, because Ro and Chak are a couple, and that would be a dynasty, she said.
But I want a female First Officer, and nobody else would be able to do the job. All female officers are either engineers or scientists. Tom Riker would be a good choice, actually, but I want a woman in the command staff. Ah, well, I'll have to think about it a little longer.
Off to read some sappy Treksmut now, before I fall into bed like a log.
