Working holidays are fun... well, mostly

wiseheartOriginally, I intended to finally get "Web of Darkness" done during Christmas break and eventually write a chapter or two to some other stories.
Instead I found myself translating and/or rewriting (so far) eight chapters to "The Child", the second installment of my Original Trek/Original BSG series called "The Lost Years".
Go figure. I really didn't want to be bothered with this particular story, it isn't one of my favourites by far, and translating is always so much more troublesome than writing straight in English. Shows how much control I've got over these things, eh?
I want to finish my half-written Merlin vignette! I want to finish "Web"! I want to add a chapter to "Atlantis Café" and perhaps "Vox Angelica". Instead, I'll be saddled with this frigging story for the rest of the holidays, it seems - and by my usual luck, I'll probably run into a serious writer's block a chapter or two before the end...
