That is annoying, but In think you should check the spam filter of your mailbox. Sometimes, an over-eager spam filter suddenly decides to filter welcome mails and eat them; mine certainly does from time to time. Maybe it is not FFN, but hotmail which is the clprit.
At least I can vouch that I got FFN-bot alerts to your updates.
