Busy Sunday

Unusually busy day for me - though no real quality work was done. But hey, I do deserve a day off, don't I?
I worked deep into the night to hunt down all those pics. Found a wonderful website called Fantasy Art - not only were all Tolkien artist represented, but also the Professor himself. Other than that, there were lots and lots of pics from Keith Parkinson - my favourite when it comes to fantasy - and various other artists. Luis Royo was represented with the most pics, even before Boris Vallejo. Go figure.
This morning, Mom and I went to the Campona shopping center (the only one that can be reached easily by bus from us), and I spent most of the "book-money" we get each year. Not exactly for books, actually - I brought CDs, which is allowed.
Now I'm the proud owner of the soundrack of TTT, a new Enya album (sadly, with mostly old songs), a world folk song collection by Chanticleer, a Gregorian chant album and a Cd by a singer called Márie Brennan of whom never heard before. Too bad I don't own a CD-player. Whenever I want to listen to my newly-acquired music, I have to turn on the computer. And the stupid ventillator is so loud.
Then I prepared lunch for today and tomorrow (in advance, as I'll have to work til 14.00). We ate mushrooms with scrambled eggs (yes, all mixed together. I know it sounds horrible, but it tastes good). And tomato-cucumber salad with lost of garlic. And I cooked the asparagus for tomorrow. Asparagus is your friend. I've read it recently in some magazine. It also tastes wonderful. So, tomorrow I only have to make the sweetcorn-tuna salad. Go me!
Other than that, I was just hanging around. Rested a little (03.00 is way too late to go to bed - or too early, depends on the perspective), hunted down some more pics, re-named them (they only had numbers) and read some Treksmut.
All in all, a busy, totally useless and very pleasant day. Are you sure you wanted to know about it? *g*
