...must come to an end, or so they say. Autumn break was one of those good things. It enabled me to finish one story, to write two chapters to another one (both can be read on [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib), update my French trip entries, figure out the basic workings of the LJ Scrapbook and finally begin to order my abundance of pictures in galleries, and even to catch up with some sleep. Hey, I even got a haircut, which was two months overdue already!

A week can be a short time - or a very long one, depending on the circumstances. Autumn break seemed unfairly short, as all good times seem. We opted against going to Vienna, because, frankly, we were both exhausted, and we even skipped the equally overdue house-cleaning... and it was Mum's idea, not mine!

Work starts tomorrow again, and we won't have another free day (well, save the weekends) until Christmas. It would be all right, if I weren't still so very tired, but, well, that can't be helped. At least we went off with a pleasant event: a concert in a church, shared with four other school choirs.

I'll try to work on this year's Advent calendar in advance, so that december won't be quite that stressful. I'd love to have a beta, but I realize how unlikely that is when NaNoWriMo is in full roll, so I won't even whine about it.

I've decided to slow down the Tolkien Quiz Game over at [livejournal.com profile] edhellondawards. Until now, I posted the solutions and the next set of questions on each weekend. I'll post the answers on one weekend and the next questions on the following one in the future. It will lessen the strain on my spare time, which happens to be, well, really spare in these days. I hope the faithful players won't be too angry wih me. I just can't keep up with the pressure in these days.
