And to comment... Has LJ reached its critical mass? I'm not sure I'll get through with this one, but I wanted to tell you that I've created an alternate otherworlds_lib community at Greatest Journals, and will start posting there all my stories, regardless of fandom, just to have a back-up. As LJ looks at the moment, it might be necessary.

I'll start with the finished stuff and will link the individual chapters together afterwards, to make the whole thing work faster.

And now I'm curios how many attempts it will take to post this entry.

I suspect your fiction will be fine, because they've made it an issue (http://news.livejournal.com/99515.html) to reverse all the suspensions of fiction and fandom journals.

They should try to iron out the bug that won't let me post or comment half the time, instead of their witch hunt.

Of course, If I were able to maintain my own website, I won't be so dependant on such idiot proof forums as LJ... :(

I don't think Lj has hit critical mass yet - but as this current meltdown shows, it's always a good idea to have a backup site, just in case.

This is not a first. A couple of weeks ago I had the same problems with the site.

Another back up site I can recommend is JournalFen , a blogging site that uses LJ source code and was created specifically for fandom :) It does not have the newest features, like tagging, however.

I also have a GJ and will go over and friend you directly :)
