Despite the fact that there were only 14 of us, it turned out very pleasant. I liked it a lot more than the Xmas one. We sang Domine Deus by Lassus, Jesu Rex Admirabilis by Palestrina,Ave verum by Mozart, Alleluia by Boyce, two Bach chorals, a gospel song I don't now the English title of, a 13th century troubadour song and a Hungarian folk song you wouldn't know.

We did well, and I came out of the temple a lot happier than I did at Xmas.

Thanks. :))

I was really, really happy about our performance, for the first time in ages.

Sounds wonderful! I, to, am glad you had such a good time. Music should bring joy and delight and that wonderful stirring in the belly when the song touches one inside. Congratulations!

No, I'm afraid not. The ones I sent you are from Transylvania - and considerably older than the one we sang this time.
