Now that the official part is over, we've got one invitation to another festival, and will probably get another one for a guest performance. Which means another occupied weekend, but this time, I actually don't mean. It's too much fun!

Oh, I missed that you'd written the play! Definitely don't deny yourself the credit. Alfred Hitchcock said that three things were needed to make a great movie: a great script, a great script, and a great script :)

Coincidentally, I was just reading a blog (from a link by communicator) which pointed out that the saying 'X is so good, I could listen to him/her read the phone book' is not actually, literally, true :)

Well, I could certainly listen to Michael Dorn reading the phone book to me - and probably have X-rated dreams afterwards. *g*

But a good script isn't everything, no matter what Hitchcock says. I've done the same play with a different set of kids, and they weren't half this good.

And yeah, it did feel great. Not only the fact that we won - the whole rehearsal process was great fun.

I think it is great to do such things together. I remember when I went to school and we played parts of Shakespear plays. I have rarely laughed as much as I did them.
