The unexpected recovery of ailing muses

In other words: one of my long-ongoing WIPs - the ST:Enterprise AU, to be more accurate - has suddenly unblocked itself and I've written the about 90% of Chapter 21 that has been simmering on the back burner for seven years. I kid you not! There is (hopefully) just one short scene to finish, and I might be able to post it to AO3 and to otherworlds_lib. *fingers crossed*

Other than that, I spent the day in the smial... again. I made banana bread in the morning, took down the few pieces of washing that had managed to dry during the night, despite the relatively cool temperature in the bathroom, improvised a simple lunch out of leftovers and took naps. Two of them. Still not enough to recover from the lack of sleep in recent days, but I'm trying. It isn't my fault that the only time I can have for myself is in the middle of the night.

The weather continues to be capricious: bright sunshine for half a day, rain for the other half. Well, as long as the rain stays outside the flat (eyes balcony warily) I'm not complaining. Mum, on the other hand, suffers a lot from the wetness. Her joints so don't like this weather!

As it is a Sunday, not to mention a religious holiday, there's nothing worth watching on the telly. That doesn't make evenings any easier. *sigh*
