Hobbity again
May. 4th, 2024 08:00 pmI've made the cocoa sponge and the mango creme for my Mother's Day cake. Buttercream and decoration (mango slices) will be added tomorrow.
I've peeled and pre-cooked 500 gram asparagus and pre-cooked a huge cauliflower. Both were bagged and went into the freezer for later use.
I've made a fantastic soup from the boiling water of the above mentioned veggies and toasted sandwiches for lunch. They were grand.
Oh, and we had laundry day, too!
I've worked a tiny bit on my teddy bear keyrings. Two more back panels are finished, eight more to go.
And with that, the day is already over. *is bewildered*
At least I got to talk to H. on the phone - that's social life, right?
