... or not. My creativity is on a slow burner nowadays.
Anyway, it wasn't a very interesting day. We watched some telly, I worked on the pot holder, made a quick cheese sauce for the asparagus and then went to choir practice. But that is okay. I needed a slow day after the two most recent ones.
I brought some excess apples from school that the kids haven't eaten and so they were free to take. I think I might make a few jars of the spicy apple sauce, only in the form of jam, that turned out so yummy last year. Basically, I'll make apple jam with the help of the Doctor (Dr. Oetker, not the Time Lord) and add ginger syrup, cinnamon and lemon zest to it. It will work well with Topfenknödel or pancakes. Assuming I'll be able to make proper pancakes ever again.
