Now, this is what I call a nice day!

I didn't have to get up early. A good start already.

I've cut out all individual parts for the bunnies-sitting-in-an-egg and glued on the three concentric hearts to decorate the pouch. I'll stitch them on later - never trust the glue enough to use it exclusively when little kids might play with an item - but at least I have an idea what they'll look like when finished. I think I'll save myself the effort of sewing/gluing on the inside of the tiny bunny ears; that's what felt-tipped pens are for. The same for the faces.

I also got to bake today, which spared me the cooking. We had cake - well, berry slices, actually - with a canned soup for lunch. In case anyone is interested, this is the cake:

And then I forced myself to follow my own picowrimo goal and finished Jigsaw Chapter #1. So far it doesn't look bad; of course, I haven't typed it up yet, which is when I usually discover the inconsistencies, the grammar mistakes and the fact that I used the same piece of infodump twice. Gah. I'll do the other jigsaw chapter first, and then force the horrors at once.

Anyone interested in vampires who'd take a look at it once it's done and tell me if it makes any sense at all? *is hopeful*

All in all, this was a lovely day, although my conscience is glaring daggers at me for not working on the baby books.
