Finally baking again!
Jan. 25th, 2024 05:43 pmI made Rosinenschnecken mit Vanillepudding gefüllt today. I've been planning to bake something like that for weeks, literally - watching the various versions of the GBBO can have that effect on a person. Anyway, the things turned out very yummy; we ate them for lunch after some leftover soup and are still full up to our ears. *g*
I've typed up another page to Chapter 3 of "Charmed into Darkness" and posted it to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hiddenrealms, in case someone would like to read it. The chapter itself is finished, I just need more time to transcribe the whole thing.
What else? Oh yes, I worked on the inside of the back cover for both my baby books. Just the basics; I'll do the embellishments during the weekend, before I'll have to start on the individual page bases.
With that, some crap telly and a short nap in the early afternoon, this day was over again. I tried to call some friends on the phone, but one of the was still on the bus, heading home, the other one probably on grandmother duty, so I was unsuccessful. And then Mum's friends took over and I didn't have a chance. ;))
