Rejuvenation
Jan. 10th, 2024 07:30 pmThe hairdresser paid us a visit, and Mum shed almost literally twenty years off her age, looking all prettied up. I hope her friends will really manage to visit for her 92nd - it would mean the world for her!
Me, I've almost finished the windmill page. All I have to add is the flea. Still haven't figured out how to make the dratted flea jump, though. Perhaps I should put the page aside and attack another one, where there are no such problems, just lots of detailed work. *is uncertain*
On domestic news, I've managed to break one of the four wheels (?) or our rolling stuffed armchair. Why they put such weak plastic things on a piece of furniture meant for heavy use, is beyond me. Now I'll have to hunt down replacements (preferably at least half a dozen, just in case), and no, I still don't know how to buy such things online, thank you very much. I guess a visit to the local OBI is in order. I'll take the broken part with me and ask them to give me something similar. Or I might ask my friend Evie to help; she's a frequent visitor at Praktiker. *sigh*
