Advent 2023 - Day 6
Dec. 6th, 2023 05:58 pmMore commonly known on these shores as St. Nicholas's Day. So I thought I'd post a fitting picture today. ;))
Sadly, St. Nicholas didn't visit us today, but my young friend Adrienne did (sans little son), and she sat with me in the kitchen while I was baking like a fiend, we chatted about all sorts of topics (mostly about school, though; she's just about to end her maternity leave and return to the battlefield) and had a good time.
In the afternoon Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady and I baked some more. Another three sorts of biscuits have been added to the list; I am now beyond the 2/3 margin. Yay!
I didn't have time for anything else; I even skipped my daily TV shows. But I'm pleased with the outcome, and seeing a friend was an added bonus.
