Yes, it does happen to me. Not very frequently, but it does. Even though I had to get up earlier than usual, so that Mum could attend to Mass on TV, like every Sunday. But other than that, this particular Sunday contained surprisingly much me-time. So I tried to put it to good use.

Firstly, after parking Mum in front of the telly, I finished Page #1 of the second songbook. There wasn't much to do, just a few decorative touches, but it's always great to finish something, even if it's only one page out of eight.

Then I made the individual pages for this album. Or rather two such albums, as I'd realized that both Abel and Benny will be celebrating their 3rd birthday this month. So I had to come up with something, double quick. I've also selected the papers for the covers, so I'm good to go. All that's left to do are the hinges and the putting together the base of the albums... and then the decoration, of course. I might not be able to make such an album base in 30 minutes like the YouTuber who posted the tutorial, but I'm optimistic that the work would be done in, say, two weeks' time. Interspersed with sewing, that is. *sigh* And I thought I was facing some stress-free crafty times!

Mum volunteered to cook today - Wiener Schnitzel, yum! - so I could take a break after all that crafting and play some Solitaire on my geriatric laptop. And now I'm about to type up some already written stuff for "Charmed into Darkness", which I'm planning to start uploading around November. When [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo goes into session. With my still ongoing writing PTSD I need a pico session for motivation.

Yeah, that's it, basically. Another week ended, Autumn has started, and I still have more things to do than time to do them. So much about retirement.
