Jul. 4th, 2023 05:45 pm... seven more to go. Until September, that is, after which I'll do the same thing again. At least the other book doesn't have the deadline.
So, folks, here I present Page One, where the three crows are cutting the wheat:

Admittedly, the crows look a bit bizarre, being finger puppets and all, but I like them. Today I added all the yellow parts, both for this page and for Page Two. I think the colours are not bad at all, even though I'd prefer the blue background to be several shades paler. But I have to use the felt that's available in the craft shop.
I also made decent progress with my writing -
picowrimo truly is a blessing - and bought some fruit from the same street vendor as last time. I've made cherry compote right afterwards because Mum can't eat them well fresh without teeth, and tomorrow I'll be most likely making apricot jam again, as soon as I've got back from the dentist.
Oh yes, and it's fairly hot over here. It was raining all night and for the better part of the morning, but all it brought is more glass house effect. *sigh*
