Flexible schedules
May. 30th, 2023 09:04 pmOriginally, I wanted to go to the customer service of Telecom for the annual data control of Mum's mobile phone (mandatory for all phones with a Domino card). Then I realized that I had choir practice in the afternoon and going out twice a day would basically ruin the whole day. So I postponed it for tomorrow and worked on my textile book instead. It is nearly done (even though I have found another row with still only temporary stitches, grrr!), all I have to do is to seam the other two panels with blanket stitch. Even part of that is already done, so I'm feeling cautiously optimistic.
Before choir practice I dropped in to the supermarket for the price-reduced new potatoes (yum!), and then to the small fruit market near our school for strawberries. They were local ones, from the field and sold for a reasonable price. So tomorrow there will be jam making, and the phone... thing will be postponed till Thursday.
I also went to the sewing supplies shop and spent some money on little silver bells, which I might need around Christmas (when they most likely won't be available, due to everyone wanting them) and some pretty ribbons that I absolutely didn't need. But they were, well, pretty, and since the shop is on sale, I'm trying to get from it anything that catches my eye. Once it closes, I'll have to go the other one twice the distance.
Not much else happened. Choir practice was fun, as always, and Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady, so she wasn't alone all the time, which is always a good thing.
