Daylight saving time
Mar. 26th, 2023 06:27 pm... I still hate it. Not the fact in itself, it really doesn't bother me, but the switch as such. We forgot about it and watched the telly quite late, so I slept about 4 hours tonight. I can't sleep in in Sundays, no matter what, as Mum has to be ready to attend Mass via telly by 8.30am, which means I have to get up on Sundays an hour earlier than any other day. Gah!
Also, our outdated technology refuses to adjust the clock of the satellite receiver, the video recorder/DVD player combo and even my dinosaur of a mobile phone. Fortunately, I've developed various tricks to force the things to cooperate, but it's still bothersome. And I still got beaten by Mum's mobile phone, as always. *sigh*
So, Mum prepared for her religious duties, I took down the dried washing, wrote two and a half pages in an unexpected bout of inspiration, made another finger puppet - and simply collapsed after lunch. Mum collapsed, too, so we had a nice, long nap.
After that, I glazed and decorated 82 biscuits (with Mum providing moral support), and with that, the day is basically over. Which is odd, as it's still bright in the outside. This will take some getting used to again.
Oh, and BTW, does anyone know what happened to Stories of Arda?
