Dead, deader, deadest
Nov. 8th, 2022 08:00 pmI've been running around like a poisoned mouse all day. The visit at Vodafone hasn't resulted in anything concrete: I was told that everyone who pays via bank transaction has the same problem due to their switching to a new system, and that things ought to return to normal in a month's time or so. I have my serious doubts, but we'll see. There's nothing. *insert curse words*
Since I was in the Allee shopping centre already, I bought Mum's Santa and Christmas gifts - at Lindt. The little golden teddy in a Christmas jumper is very cute, she'll love it. And Lindor chocolate balls are always a favourite. As my (ex-)colleague Erica likes to say, I only ever buy things she can eat, drink or apply to her skin. We've got too many mathoms in the house already.
I also visited the craft shop and bought some red, burgundy and green cardboard for my cards, not to mention lovely Christmas stickers. I already have a staple of them, some 5 centimetres high, but they were soooo pretty!
I then took the bus and crossed over the Danube, to another Lidl supermarket. To my disappointment, they didn't have the cookie stamp set, either. Ah, well, it isn't so important, I'd just love to have them. But the other set I already have will do, too.
Getting home, we ate leftovers for lunch and watched a tiny bit of telly. Then I had to leave again, because Tuesday = choir practice. Choir practice was fun, as always, but I'm really, really tired now. Plus, I've just discovered that I might have a hole in one of my teeth (or perhaps in two teeth), so I can look forward to a lovely visit at the dentist's - whose practice is at a considerable distance from our home. *sigh*
