Working Sunday again
Oct. 23rd, 2022 05:00 pmSpent with putting away the laundry, preparing the flat for tomorrow's cleaning frenzy, taking out the garbage, emptying the vacuum cleaner so that it would be ready for tomorrow... and a tiny bit of crafting.
5 of the 12 cupcakes for the counting page of the Christmas-themed quiet book are done. 7 more to go, which means 14 pieces of Velcro and 63 dots to be hand-stitched - I've eschewed the beads because I don't see how could I have sewn on 12 of them on a piece of felt as small as my thumbprint. Granted, I do have a wide thumb, but still.
Anyway, I can't wait to have this particular page out of my hair. TBH, I find working on it increasingly boring, but I don't want to start something else until it is finished. Well... save for the tinfoil bead garlands, but that's something quick and easy and relaxing.
Not much else happened. I've tried to reach three different people on the phone but neither of them deigned to answer it or to call me back. I'm trying not to get pissed off about it.
