Little angels on their way
Sep. 1st, 2022 07:21 pmI wanted to do my food run early in the morning, but it has rained. So I decided to postpone the shopping and work on the little angels instead. I've folded 3 pale blue and 2 pale pink angel bodies and stitched on the respective wings - what can I say, they look really well. I was so satisfied that I cut out the parts for 3 more: pale grey ones with silver wings, because I still have some soft, thick grey felt rests from the quiet books. (These angels are made almost exclusively from rests). If they look good in their finished state, I'll make some more. The heads and hair pieces are all cut out - tomorrow I might work on those. Or on the grey bodies. We'll see.
The weather cleared up by noon, so I decided to do my food run, after all. This time I went to the Savoy Park shopping centre, which has the advantage of multiple shops, some of them selling craft supplies. I didn't find much of immediate interest, so all I bought in that area were some heart-shaped, sparkly foam stickers.
We decided not to cook today, as we had leftover plum soup and I bought some Wiener Würstchen. Yum! Not much else was done today, save for a few crossword puzzles and a nap in the afternoon. But I'm an old hag, I need my beauty sleep. ;))
