Just because I haven't used it for quite a while.

Today was... a bit hasty. I planned to do a certain amount of crafting but had barely begun when the blind lady from the flat opposite ours came with some problem. That in itself isn't a problem, both Mum and I are happy to help; as Mum used to be a book-keeper for more than half a century, neighbours come and ask her from time to time. No, the problem is that the lady in question has the frustrating custom of telling everything twice and thrice and four times... So, everything that could have been discussed in five minutes usually takes half an hour. *sigh*

I finished the part I had planned for today nonetheless, but it meant that my entire schedule got off-kilter and I had to give up the precious half-hour of napping I usually do in the afternoon. There is something so peaceful in napping while the sun shines through the half-lowered blinds. Well, no napping was done today. But at least we managed to go for a walk with Mum, which is important to build up her strength again. Elections are next month, and she's adamant to go and give her vote in person. ;))

Not much else happened today. I made Topfenknödel for lunch (we have it once a week), we watched some telly, and now I'm going to do some research on airports in Toronto and San Francisco, respectively, for the epilogue of "Kindred Spirits".

No subject line because I don't have the matching icon over here...
