The end of Christmas time
Feb. 1st, 2022 05:45 pmWell, officially it ends tomorrow, on the feast of Candlemas, which is when we usually take down the Christmas tree. But I overslept today a bit (all 12 minutes of it or so) and decided to postpone the food run for tomorrow as a result. So, in order to do something productive today as well, I took down the artificial monstrosity and stored it away in its cardboard box until next year.
Afterwards I felt inspired to make another page to the baby book and realized that I've made one page base more than I'd need. Ah, well, the intricacies of a distracted mind! This means I'll only have to make one more page, then the binding and the decoration of the covers, and I'll be done! Yay!

The quality of the book is a bit uneven, but this is the best I can come up right now - before I'd start on the originally planned baby book that I've come to call The Thing of Beauty (TM) and that doesn't have an intended recipient just yet. Which means I can take my time with it and re-do things that don't work out until I'm fully satisfied.
