Time flows by...
Jul. 25th, 2021 08:39 pm... and all of a sudden it's evening again and you can't imagine where the day has gone. *shakes head in bewilderment*
Granted, I've finished another half-scene of the werewolf story and made the cover base for the baby book I intend to make for I., my (also retired) ex-colleague, whose second grandson is due to be born in November. I made the inner binding and cut out the page bases. Soon I can start the creative part of the process.
I also hung on the phone with the customer service of Vodafone for half an hour (about 20 minutes of it waiting to get to speak with someone) because my Internet connection has been keeping the vanishing act in the last couple of days. It always comes back after a few minutes, but it isn't exactly reassuring. They promised to send me a technician on the 3rd of August. Joy!
Mum volunteered to make chicken soup and Schnitzel today. It was very yummy, I just wish she wouldn't decide to do such a lengthy job of cooking when it's as hot as it is. We're back into the 30s again. Well, she mastered it with bravour and we even did some walking down on the street afterwards, complete with stairs climbing. The woman is unbelievable!
