Hoping

So, I talked to our family doctor yesterday and she prescribed some stomach pills for Mum. They seem to be working, although I don't want to become too optimistic after only one day. Still, they eased her suffering, so I actually got to do a few (very minor) things for me today. Like finishing the seaming of the ladybird/mermaid double page and finally cobbling together the last couple of paragraphs to Chapter 16 of Timescapes.

The extra run to the pharmacy in the morning didn't help with keeping ahead of things - housework is really soul-numbing with its never-ending monotony. But I managed. And now that picowrimo starts the day after tomorrow, I'll have something to look forward to. Something that isn't part of the daily sh*t.

In actuality, I should start Easter baking, soon. I'm afraid I won't be doing much in that are this year, though. It would be simply too much.
