New quiet book page: Hen with chicks

Yep, it is finally done. And since it was a relatively simple pattern, it only cost me a couple of days to finish. My iPad mini behaved, too, and took a rather decent photo. Just the colours are a tad darker than in the original - I couldn't sharpen the image by editing without darkening it a bit.

So, what do you think?



Just to explain things: the eggs have a pocket under the hen's wing, and they can be opened, too, and the chicks can be taken out. I'm very happy with the way the page turned out.

Nothing else happened today, except for a bit of cooking and writing, but I'm very content with the day nonetheless.

Addendum several hours later: This might be the last pic for a while because the mini has just refused to connect to the internet - again - and I've no idea if and when I can get the problem fixed. Sometimes it recovers on its own but that's the less frequent happening. *sigh*
