Some weeks are just too busy...

... and that not in a good way, either!

Today, we had the monthly visit from the talkative chiropodist lady. Headache afterwards pre-programmed. Then I cooked lunch - curiouswombat's amazing ginger-and-carrot soup and Sauerbraten mit Semmelknödeln. In-between and afterwards I worked on the hen-and-chicken page of Little Emma's quiet book. I made good progress! Yay!

By then, most of the natural light was gone and I didn't feel like reading by the light of the overhead lamp. So I decided to come online while waiting for my friend Evie to call me back.

Oh, and we had some snow last night! In the morning the streets were apparently slippery like ice rinks, but then the sun came out and there was wind, so a lot of it melted and got dried up. Still, there might be ice patches left and disguised here and there, so I'll have to be careful tomorrow.
